Team Racer 4.2

 The TR4.2  is a new boat designed to suit Team Racing for people of all sizes.

With a simple lay out it has been well thought out to reduce repairs and fitting replacements. Everything is in a set position so that nothing can be changed to give an advantage.

The hull is based on the 420 with more displacement in the sides allowing the boat to float a little higher when capsized therefore no water will be in the boat after righting, with a Daggerboard replacing the centreboard to give more space for moving around the boat. A “D” rubber fender is built into the gunwale all round the sheer.

The Deck is a one piece mould with no flanges and with few fittings reducing any replacements that may be required, the only fittings are fairlead and cleat for jib, mainsheet block, rudder pintals and eye bolts for stays. Traveller, Toe straps and Bow fitting are built into the deck mould.

The Mast is a tapered section with single spreader and fixed stay lengths, with internal main and jib halyards.

The sails are one design built in 5oz cloth with three stitched in battens; the jibs come in 8 different colours.

There is also a reduced main for small sailors or windy conditions. (This sail is at an extra cost)

The TR4.2 is the only boat built specially for team racing; it will stand up to the hardship inflicted on it by the hardest team racers around.

One design means one design there is nothing you can change on this boat everything has a set position.

The TR4.2 will suit all sizes of sailors unlike other team racing boats on the market.
